Welcome to the Caldwell County Clerk birth and death certificate online ordering system. Online requests will be processed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Please note the following:

      • Birth records for Caldwell County are available back to 1882
      • If your birth occurred outside of Caldwell County, but within the State of Texas, you will be issued an Abstract Record which is still a certified legal document
      • If you were not born within the State of Texas we are not able to access your birth certificate. You will need to contact the state that you were born.
      • Death Records are available only for decedents who pass within the Caldwell County limits.

The State Office is requiring that all applicants upload a form of identification when submitting their application. Click on the button below for information on the forms of identification acceptable. When applying online, we only accept PRIMARY forms of identification (Group A).

*An additional Non-Refundable $4 Service and Credit Card Processing Fee will be applied to all online orders
*An additional Non-Refundable $0.35 'Vital Verify' fee will be applied to all Delivery orders.

Standard Shipping is provided at no cost to the applicant as a courtesy of the Caldwell County Clerk's Office.

 

You will be asked to select the method of receiving the certificates during the application. You will be notified by us once we have processed your application and the certificates are out for mail or ready for pickup.
